Having open hearts, open minds, and open doors means we are called to share God's welcome with all people. We as a congregation support the Reconciling Ministries Network, and we are a community where believers, seekers, and doubters of every race, ethnicity, age, ability, gender identity, sexual orientation,
socio-economic status and political affiliation are welcomed, affirmed, and valued as children of God.
Worship
11 am worship in the sanctuary has a choir, procession, a time just for young children, and a variety of hymns, songs, and prayers.
Where should I park?
Sunday School classes are primarily in the hallways in the middle of the building and on the side of the building nearest the playground. As you face our campus from Henderson Mill Road, the best entrance for Sunday School is on the right side and the best parking is in the back on the right side. The 11:00 am service is held in the main sanctuary, which is located on the left side of the complex. The best parking is in the rear on the left side. Of course, if you’re just not sure, park anywhere, come in any door, and ask! We’re ready to help you find where you belong.
What should I bring?
You don’t have to bring anything, but you are welcome to bring your questions, your doubts, your friends and family. We bring open hearts, minds, and doors, and we are excited to meet you!
What should I wear?
Dress comfortably, and you’ll be like everyone else! You’ll see people dressed in "business casual," "Sunday Best," jeans, khakis, and even a few ties. Embry Hills style includes your style.
What else happens on Sundays?
There are classes and small groups for all ages offered before 11 am worship service, starting at 9:45 am. We have classes for children, youth, and adults. You’ll find others interested in learning as well as a great sense of community and belonging.
