Shanelle is a native of Upstate New York. She joined the EHUMC staff in May 2025 as a Ministry Assistant of Spiritual Formation. She is passionate about sharing God’s love and grace through teaching, preaching and pastoral care! Shanelle is a second-year student at Candler School of Theology pursuing a Master of Divinity with a concentration in Religious Education. She is currently in the candidacy process for ordination in the North Georgia Conference and has served several United Methodist churches within that conference.
Outside of work, she and her husband, Hammed, love traveling, trying new restaurants, and attending Atlanta United games and live concerts.
