The Work Area on Education is working with the other Work Areas to provide opportunities for small group development. This is in addition to our regular Sunday school classes and the hope is to establish small groups of from ten to fifteen people of different ages and primary interests who will learn and grow together.

The Embry Hills UMC Seniors are Special ministry has announced it's Fall 2011 schedule. Note that the start time is 11:30 a.m. As usual, the monthly programs will be held in the Family Life Center.

Stop by one the 5, 6, 7, 8 beginner line dance classes and check out a fun way to exercise! These classes are offered on Mondays and Tuesdays in Room 312. The next 6 week session of the 5678 classes begins Monday, January 30th and Tuesday, January 31st!!

• Mondays: 4:45 pm - basic beginner & 6:00 pm - beginner
• Tuesdays: 4:45 pm - beginner & 6:00 pm – high beginner

It is 2011. And here we (the Embry Hills United Methodist Women) are asking YOU to consider joining with us.

The United Methodist Women’s website, a part of the General Board of Global Ministries (http://new.gbgm-umc.org/umw), has the best answer as to why.

The United Methodist Men are making some radical changes for 2011. We are hopeful that these changes will result in an increase in attendance and participation by more men of the church. To begin with we are changing our meeting time to MONDAY NIGHTS at 06:30pm, every other month. Our first meeting is scheduled for February 14 and the next April 11, and so on for the remainder of the year.> We are also planning on serving dinner at a cost of $7. Since February 14 is also Valentine’s Day, we will celebrate a dinner with our ladies.

The Class With No Name is a group of young(ish) adults in their late 20’s to late 30’s. They meet Sunday, 9:45 AM in Room 210. Class material/lesson is generally confined to one Sunday so it easy for new members to jump in.
