NETWorks Cooperative Ministry is starting a food pantry and is collecting specific food donations for its food pantry this Saturday, Nov 12th from 10 a.m. to noon at their new location in the old Wachovia building at 4th and Church Streets in Tucker.

Foods needed are: Pop-top canned goods & micro-wavable food such as soup, noodles, mac & cheese, fruit cups & puddings (that don't need refrigeration) Also: individually wrapped snack crackers, granola bars & other like items.

Today is Ash Wednesday, which begins the season of Lent. As you ponder how you might want to experience this 40 day period of spiritual awareness, the Outreach Work Area has prepared the attached calendar as one way in which you can participate. Food Bank Donations Needed in January

We are collecting food for the Friends of St. Martin's food bank again this month. Please bring your donations to church on the last Sunday of the month (Jan 29th). Thank you for your continued support for this ministry .

The Embry Hills Snax Sax Ministry continues to flourish; Beth Starling was recently interviewed about Snax Sax as part of a documentary on poverty and hunger.

This ministry is growing so quickly! We are filling up to 135 bags each Friday morning. Kroger at Embry Hills is donating 2 cases of fruit each week. We have a logo for the program designed by students at Chamblee Middle School and the students are donating proceeds from their Art Auction April 14th to Snax Sax! Both the National Honor Society and Interact Club at Chamblee High School are collecting items and will pack some bags April 16th.
