3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off

The 3rd annual Square Pegs UMW Chili-cook off will be held next Sunday, January 29, 2012 after the 11 am service. As in prior years, prizes will be awarded for the best tasting chili and the best name. Please contact Susanne Marsh at smarsh@marshcomm.net or 770-457-3624 by January 26th to register for this event and to receive the official rules. Let the games begin!

You had to wait for a little bit longer than a year but it is finally here: The 3rd Annual Square Pegs UMW Chili Cook-Off!!! Get your crock-pots out (I know you already did), refine your recipe, and start brainstorming for the winning name. Ready, set, …

…Before you start running to the grocery store though, please take a moment to send me a message confirming that you are up to the challenge and that you WILL obey by the RULES.

The RULES are as follows:

1)Bring your famous chili in a crock pot to the Family Life Center on Sunday between 9:30am and 11:30am.
2)Provide a serving spoon/ladle (please label with name of Chili – will be returned)
3)List the ingredients, if possible (for people with allergies)
4)Have a name tag/label for your chili (only name of the Chili – not your name…)
5)Don’t tell people which chili is yours
6)Have fun and enjoy!!

If somebody else mentioned to you that they plan on bringing chili but they are not listed above, please feel free to forward this message.
