Fulfillment through Prayer

Welcome any new folks who have become part of our e-mail Prayer Ministry. This list is open to any church member wishing to become a part of this very important ministry at Embry Hills. The prayer concerns will come to your regular e-mail account as a message with “EHUMCprayer” in the subject line. If you have prayer concerns which you would like distributed through the EHUMC prayer chain (Both e-mail and phone list), please call or e-mail the church office. You may call the church at (770) 938-0661 or you may send an e-mail to ehumc@yahoo.com. If your concern occurs after hours or on the weekend and you are unable to reach staff please contact Dodie Risse directly at (770) 491-0646 or drisse@comcast.net. To stop being a member of this e-mail prayer list, simply send an e-mail message to EHUMCprayer-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com or to drisse(at)comcast.net.

Beginning the first of March the Prayer Ministry will begin adding additional information to our Prayer request. We will highlight one of the Ministries taking place at the church and asking each person to be in prayer for that particular ministry for that week or month. We have many exciting things that go on at our church and they will continue to grow and expand. Every program that is done needs all of our prayers. We want to be thankful for these activities and pray for the growth we can all receive from them. Our Prayer Room, located in room 205, continues to be a quiet place for anyone to be able to sit or kneel in silence and be in prayer and have a special time with your God.

We are hopeful that this message list will make being a part of the prayer ministry at Embry Hills a little bit easier. Although we are using a Yahoo! List to distribute the prayer concerns you do not have to join Yahoo! or do anything more to receive the e-mails.
