Outreach Opportunities

Saturday, October 27th: Wesley Walk for Others (churchwide opportunity): Wesley Community Centers sponsors three outreach programs in the Atlanta area: Bethlehem Senior Center, which strives to improve the quality of life of seniors who live with few resources; Camp Wesley, which offers a summer camp experience to children from challenging circumstances; and Project Extend, which provides free home repairs for low-income older adults who live in their own home. The Wesley Walk for Others provides most of the funding for these programs. This year, Embry Hills plans to send at least 25 people to participate.

December 1: Wesley Community Centers "Home Repairs for the Holidays" (churchwide opportunity)

Sunday, July 29th: Trinity Table: On one Sunday each year, Embry Hills UMC's EHugs ministry serves lunch to 400 homeless residents of Atlanta at Trinity United Methodist Church downtown.

Saturday, August 18th: Atlanta Food Bank
