Lulu Smith, Age 5
I feel honored to be the Director of Nurture and Children’s Ministry at Embry Hills, where I can help children and adults explore the different stories of the Christian faith and the rhythms of the Christian year. As we continue to grow, these stories and rhythms offer comfort by reminding us of God’s presence throughout the year, challenging us to see the power in each other’s individual stories, and showing us that we are a part of the “Kin-dom” of God.I spend most of my time at Embry Hills with the children, which is fitting, since I have been working with kids practically since I was one year old! I come from a large family, with four nieces and two nephews near my age, and I grew up working with kids in just about every way imaginable. I’ve taught gymnastics, nannied, worked in day care centers and after-school programs, served in a variety of roles in church programs, and worked as a summer camp counselor with children and youth of all ages.If you’d like to know more about what Embry Hills has to offer your children, I’d love to talk with you.
